Privacy Notice

This notice describes information handled when someone visits or contacts Lemhi County Released Inmates, why it is used, and the choices that may apply.

Information We Receive

Search terms entered into a sponsored search box pass to the third-party provider that operates it. We do not receive or store the provider's full search results. If you send a message, we receive the contact details and content you choose to provide. Web servers and service providers may also log technical data such as IP address, browser type, device details, referral page, pages viewed, and access time.

Cookies and Similar Tools

Cookies or comparable technologies may keep the site working, measure visits, remember choices, prevent abuse, or support advertising. Analytics providers and ad networks may set their own identifiers under their policies. Browser settings can block or remove cookies, though some functions may then work differently.

How Data Is Used

Information may be used to operate and secure the site, answer a message, understand which resources help readers, diagnose faults, prevent misuse, and improve content. We may also use aggregated information that does not identify a visitor.

When Data May Be Shared

Data may go to search partners when a visitor uses their tool, and to vendors that provide hosting, analytics, security, or advertising. It may also be disclosed to law enforcement or another authority when a valid legal order requires it, or when needed to protect rights, safety, or site operations. We do not sell contact messages as mailing lists.

Links to Other Services

Official sheriff, court, IDOC, VINE, BOP, ICE, and partner links lead to sites with separate privacy practices. This notice does not control their collection, security, pricing, or retention. Review the receiving site's terms before submitting personal information.

Security and Retention

Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet system can promise absolute security. Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose, legal duties, dispute handling, or security, then deleted or de-identified when practical.

Children and Age Limits

This site is not directed to people under 18, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from minors. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted data may use the Contact Us page.

Your Privacy Choices

Depending on applicable law and location, a person may ask to access, correct, or delete information they supplied, or object to certain processing. Identity may need to be verified before a request is completed. Cookie and advertising choices can also be managed through browser or provider controls.

Changes to This Notice

This notice may change as services or legal duties change. The revised version takes effect when posted. Continued use after an update means the current notice applies.
